Typically you should be filtering out emails to the trash. If for any reason you see fetch time go back to 30+ minutes, then create a custom label instead.
I will not be selling or spamming any emails that are collected. GSpeed.us will simply send an email at a set interval and nothing more.
Enter the email address that you want removed on the main page. A link will come up in red that can be used to remove your email address.
It can take Google up to an hour or two to adapt to the new flow of email coming in, so be patient. Sign into Gmail and go to "Settings -> Accounts and Import -> Check mail using POP3". Your fetch time should not exceed more than 10 minutes. In most cases it will fetch every 5 minutes. Leave that screen up for about 10 minutes and take note how often email is checked. (see picture below) You should see a dramatic difference.

If your fetch time is more than 15 minutes, click "Check Mail" under "Accounts and Import". It should say there has been at least one new email fetched. This should kickstart Gmail into fetching emails sooner. As a steady stream of new email comes in, Gmail will react accordingly and fetch more frequently. If you are still having problems after 45 minutes then email me at btedeschi [at] gmail.com.
In all likelihood no one will even hear about this service, let alone Google. You have nothing to worry about. If anything I should worry if I start to send out thousands of emails an hour.
